Call for Entries Students 2023 Final
Ends on
COVID-19: As of this posting, the Eddie Adams Workshop will be an in-person event. We will be taking extensive safety measures to ensure the health and well-being of all attendees. But if at any point an in-person event is deemed unsafe, we will pivot to a virtual event. All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination and take a COVID-19 test upon arrival.
Application Process: The Eddie Adams Workshop accepts 100 students each year. Half are college students and half are professionals with less than 6 years of professional experience. All U.S. military photographers are eligible to apply as professionals. Candidates are required to submit the following:
· online application
· personal statement
· portfolio of 12-20 images (no more)
· application fee
College students must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and have an active school email address when their application is submitted. Applicants who graduated in December 2022 and are between graduate programs are eligible to apply as college students. If you are currently not enrolled but have been accepted to an accredited college or university and will be enrolled in Fall 2023, you are eligible to apply as a college student.
All completed and eligible applicants will first have their portfolios reviewed by our admissions committee. In the second and final round, another committee of industry professionals will vote on the final 100 portfolios accepted into the Eddie Adams Workshop. Applicants who do not get accepted may apply again for future Workshops. EAW alumni are not eligible to apply again.
